We want YOU to run for AUTM’s Board!

The application period for AUTM's 2024 Board of Directors is open! We encourage all our qualifying Members to consider throwing their hats in the ring.

This year, AUTM Members will elect four new positions to the Board of Directors. One Treasurer and three Directors. Those who are newly-elected will begin their terms at the conclusion of AUTM’s 2024 Annual Meeting, Feb. 18-21 in San Diego.

In order to be a candidate for the position and serve as a Director, you must be a Regular Member or an Emeritus Member in Good Standing with at least five years' experience in the tech transfer community at the time you submit candidate materials.

Sept. 7, 2023  Election Rules Announced to Membership – Application Window Open 
Oct. 12, 2023  Deadline for receipt of candidate materials – Application Window Closed 
Week of 
Oct. 14, 2023
Leadership Development Committee and staff confirm the candidates meet qualifications 
Oct. 18, 2023  Candidates are proposed to AUTM Membership at Watercooler 
Oct. 23, 2023 Electronic voting opens 
Nov. 15, 2023  Electronic Voting closes (5 p.m. ET, US) 
Nov. 20, 2023  2024 Board Members announced 
Feb 2024  New Board inducted at Annual Meeting 
Election Policy, Guidelines and Rules
Members will vote for the general candidates through a dual-ballot process.
