Can you share a little about your company’s mission and what drives your work?
The Chevron Studio program is committed to identifying licensable technologies from universities in a variety of advanced energy verticals to match with experienced entrepreneurs who are interested in exploring creating new companies to advance the technology to commercialization.
What recent project or success are you most proud of?
In 2025 the Chevron Studio program started nine new companies who are scaling advanced energy technologies from universities.
What are you most looking forward to at the Annual Meeting?
We are interested in connecting with universities with strong portfolios of technology in engineering, chemistry, robotics, and other disciplines that are not already participating in the program.
Why is supporting this event important to your organization?
It is critical to find ways to advance technologies from the lab to commercialization. Connecting with universities is the ideal starting point for identifying these technologies and inventors working in this space.
What do you wish attendees knew about your firm?
How Chevron Studio is a unique program designed to match entrepreneurs with technology and support them in the scaling of the technology.
Who are you hoping to connect with at the meeting?
Leaders in the technology transfer offices and portfolio/licensing managers.
What’s one fun fact people might not know about your company or team?
Chevron Studio is a joint partnership between Chevron Technolgy Ventures and the National Laboratory of the Rockies.
What excites you most about the future of the technology transfer field?
Finding solutions that will fix key problems in the advance energy space.
What is something you are hoping to learn more about at the Annual Meeting?
How corporate studios can help build successful connections with universities to connect with inventors and technology transfer offices.
