What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Accomplishing the things everyone told me would be impossible (note that my honeymoon and watching my children being born were pretty good too).

Which living person do you most admire?
Bill and Melinda Gates who are humanitarianly using their massive wealth to positively transform the world.

What is your greatest extravagance?
My wife and I have six wonderful (most of the time), but spoiled children.

What is your greatest fear?
I'll have to go with Franklin Delano Roosevelt on this one, "the only thing we have to fear is... fear itself.”

On what occasion do you lie?
When my wife's upset and the truth will not bring happiness.

What do you most dislike about your appearance?
My neck is too big. It's hard to find a proper fitting shirt.

Which living person do you most despise?
The person driving in front of me, really slowly, in the passing lane and won't move over!

What or who is the greatest love of your life?
God, my wife, my kids and a perfectly prepared ribeye steak.

Where do you see tech transfer 5 years from now?
It will continue to be a key economic driver, hopefully better integrated into university, industry, economic development and government integrated partnerships.
