What drew you to work at AUTM? 
I had a good friend and past colleague that joined AUTM about a year before I did. She had nothing but good things to say, and as I progressed through the interview process I really enjoyed everyone that I met within AUTM and how everyone was genuine and authentic. My interviews felt like conversations – it just felt like home.
 
You have experience working in real estate. Was it love?
I have been in the real estate industry in some capacity for over 10 years. My first job was in the mortgage industry, then I dabbled in inspection management before earning my realtor’s license in 2014. It is more of a hobby now, but I love the hunt for the perfect home almost as much as I like the negotiating side. I like people and figuring out what their wants and needs are – even when they may not know themselves.
 
What’s one book you’d gift to everyone if you could?
This question is so hard for me! I love historical fiction, but my self-imposed regulation is that I must read one educational or spiritual book for every fiction book – so, I am a little all over the place when it comes to reading. The practical side of me would choose The Millionaire Next Door. It is a book I’ve encouraged all my kids to read, as it is such a good foundation for economic sense.
 
If you had a motto, what would it be?
“If you can be anything, be nice.”
 
What locations are on your travel bucket list?
Europe, Italy, Germany, and Ireland – one or two of these are slated for Summer 2023.
 
What’s your ideal morning?
I’m not a morning person, so any morning that doesn’t require an alarm clock is ideal!
 
What’s your most treasured possession and why? 
I don’t really have a treasured possession other than my family. I’m somewhat of a minimalist and just treasure my husband and four kids the most.
