AUTM 2020 Annual Meeting Refund FAQ


What are my refund options?
You can choose ONE of these three options:

  1. Refund your meeting registration, including any additional add-on events and services, minus a $100 administrative fee.
  2. Exchange your registration fees for a benefits package that includes:
    • An extension of my existing AUTM membership through 2021 (a value of $295);
    • Free access to the 20+ live webinars planned for 2020 (a value >$3,000); and
    • Extended access to AUTMConnect for networking through 2020.
  3. Invest your registration fees back into the Association to support the future of AUTM.

How do I select a refund option? 
If you did not receive an email outlining the refund options, click here.  

Is there a deadline for reimbursement?
You must submit your request no later than May 13, 2020. If you haven’t made a selection by May 13, we will accept the funds as a reinvestment into AUTM’s programming.  

When will I get my money back? 
Please allow 6-8 weeks for the refund to be processed. 

How do I find my login and password so I can access the online refund tool?
You can view your AUTM username or reset your password here.

What does the $100 administration fee cover?
This fee is intended to help AUTM manage the sunk costs for the $2.2 million event. Though AUTM will be working to recoup some expenses, there are many funds that can’t be reimbursed.

Will I get a refund by check or a credit card?
If you paid by check, you will receive a refund by check. If you paid by credit card, the card used in the transaction will receive the credit.

Will my membership be automatically extended?
If you were a 2020 AUTM member when you registered for the Annual Meeting,  your membership will be extended to December 31, 2021 if you select the exchange option #2. Our plan is to make the change after the May 13th deadline. You should see the change reflected in your MyAUTM account around the week of May 18.

I registered for the conference and paid for AUTM membership to get a discount. Can I get my membership fee back, too?
AUTM is not refunding membership fees. 

I was not an AUTM member when I registered for the Annual Meeting. Can I still receive a membership for the 2021 year if I select the exchange option?
Unfortunately, no. This extension is only for current members. If you are interested in joining AUTM, click here.

I selected Refund Option #2. How do I get access to my free webinars?
You will be sent a personal coupon code after May 15, 2020 allowing access to all LIVE webinars through 2020.  

How do I access AUTMConnect to continue networking all year?
Click here to access the 2020 Annual Meeting AUTMConnect site. As a registered attendee you have access to all networking, which will be extended through 2020.

Can I transfer my registration to the 2021 event?
No, unfortunately the paperwork is too complex to be cost-effective. But we’re delighted you hope to join us in 2021.
