This session will explore the highs and lows of software-based startups. What are software entrepreneurs interested in and seeking out from TTOs? Are TTOs making money in software startups? What terms are common in software startup license agreements, and are any contract clauses unduly holding up negotiations? This session will explore all this and more.

Medical Devices and digital health often require FDA regulation if not approval. This session will explore this area in detail with specific examples of how and why compliance is an essential component for any TTO hoping to license digital health innovations.

This session will explore these concepts, describing what they are, why they matter, and what TTOs can do with them, if anything. In the process we can separate fact from hyperbole in this emerging field of IP inquiry
