The Start-up Course is designed for licensing and venture development professionals interested in learning general approaches to venture creation, scale up and management.  Technology transfer and venture development offices often play a role in supporting faculty-led or student-led start-up companies, creating new ventures leveraging intellectual property, or negotiating license agreements with early-stage companies that will rely on investment capital for their growth.  This Course is intended to provide licensing/venture development professionals with a deeper understanding of issues related to new ventures regardless of their role.
