Prior to managing R&D, Dan was the Senior Sales Engineer, where he was responsible for supporting customers and internal and external stakeholders on Badger Meter’s Flow Instrumentation products by providing solutions to customers within the engineered flow products portfolio.

Joseph Burke
Manager of Research & Technology
Watts Water Technologies

In Joseph’s innovation leadership role, for the largest platform of Watts, he is focused on understanding customer pain points and creating new to world, new to industry technology solutions. Identified technologies are managed internally or with external research organizations. Joseph’s responsibilities include developing and maintaining a network of partners including universities, start-up incubators and corporations is necessary to creating and executing on ideas.

Christopher Palassis
Incubator Lead
Xylem Innovation Labs

Christopher is a Distinguished Engineer and the Incubator Lead for Xylem Innovation Labs, the corporate innovation initiative of Xylem. Xylem Innovation Labs is kicking off its first Incubator and Accelerator program in 2022 to support startup companies in the water space to develop their minimum viable product, pilot their technology with customers, or access new market channels.

Prior to this role, Christopher led the Xylem Analytics Sensor Technology Group and held various sensor design roles at Xylem’s subsidiary, YSI. Christopher’s background is in physics and optics and holds several patents in water quality sensing.

Chris Taylor
Global Product Manager - Sanitaire

Chris is the Global Product Manager at Xylem – Sanitaire with past work experience as a Biological Process Engineer. He has a strong passion for improving the health of the environment and solving global water challenges. Chris has a Bachelor Degree in Biological Systems Engineering from Michigan State University and has been in the field for 8 years.
