Dinesh Divakaran is the Vice President of Partnerships, North America with Owkin Inc., a French-American unicorn company that combines cutting-edge AI and biology to advance drug discovery. In his role at Owkin, Dinesh leads a team that builds partnerships and collaborations around multi-modal data, AI/ML and federated learning with academic medical centers, healthcare systems, and real-world data companies across North America.
Charles R. Macedo, a physicist by training, litigates in all areas of intellectual property law, including patent, trademark, and copyright law, with special emphasis in complex litigation and appellate work. Companies and individuals from a wide range of industries turn to him to develop offensive and defensive strategies for the development and enforcement of their patent and trademark portfolios. Charley holds bachelors and masters degrees in physics from The Catholic University of America and a law degree from Columbia Law School, all with honors. He was the sole law clerk to Hon. Daniel M. Friedman of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit from 1989 to 1990.
Jarlath Byrne Rodgers is the Research Commercialization Principal for Digital Health and Neuroinformatics at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Toronto. In this role, he works on the licensing of digital health, AI and software inventions, as well as spinoff company creation. Prior to joining CAMH, Jarlath analyzed biotech and digital health company investments for GGHC in New York. Jarlath holds an AB from Princeton University and a PhD from the University of Toronto.
