Award-Winning Website and Membership Marketing

AUTM Honored for Website, Membership Marketing Campaigns

WASHINGTON, DC, September 15, 2020 – AUTM, a global non-profit whose Members work to advance ideas from research institutions into the marketplace to stimulate the economy and benefit society, this summer received three marketing-related honors.

In May, the Association received an Award of Distinction in the 26th annual American Communicator Awards for the design of its website. With more than 6,000 entries from around the world, the Communicator Awards are the largest and most competitive awards program honoring creative excellence for the communications professionals. In 2017, AUTM’s marketing team partnered with creative agency Beyond Definition (then Bates Creative), to reimagine the Association’s website, autm.net.

In June, AUTM received two EXCEL bronze awards from Association Media & Publishing for its remastered Membership brochure and new Membership video, both of which share the benefits – personal and professional – of becoming an AUTM Member. The EXCEL Award recognizes excellence and leadership in non-profit association media, publishing, marketing and communications.

“Now, more than ever, it’s critical that the Association communicate the value of scientific research that’s transforming everyday lives around the world,” said AUTM CEO Stephen J. Susalka.  “AUTM’s award-winning campaigns set the bar high, shining a light on the Association’s work and the benefits that AUTM provides its Members.”
