Tips & Tricks: Using the US-BOLT Term Sheet for Climate Startups

In Fall 2023, a group of universities and VCs who have significant experience in launching climate startups worked together to develop a version of the US-BOLT startup term sheet templates for use with climate-related innovations. That effort culminated in April 2024, when the group released the approved version of the climate template, an event which was celebrated by the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy in Washington, DC. The webinar panelists will discuss how the effort came together, ways it was similar and different from the life science version of the US-BOLT, and how the term sheet should be used by universities and VCs going forward.
